Detective Inspector Dean Garvin, of the Serious and Organised Crime Unit, said: “My team have been tasked with tackling an organised crime group considered to be the greatest risk in Wiltshire.

“We were quickly able to establish that Mr Murombedzi and Mr Mitford (who used the code name Dusseldorf for their drug line) were supplying Class A drugs to this local gang, whose leaders were already in prison as a result of actions by Wiltshire Police.

“We monitored them before implementing enforcement measures at four locations with the support of our specialist teams.

“The evidence we collected was overwhelming and that is why they pleaded guilty to the charges.

“The profits these organized crime gangs make are staggering, at the expense of the suffering and violence our communities endure because of their greed.

“Now both people face potentially long prison sentences.

“We will continue to pursue these gang members and bring them before the judges and juries of Wiltshire.

“This is what the public expects from us.”
