Amy Slaton of “1000-Lb. Sisters” arrested for drugs and child endangerment

“1,000-Lb. Sisters” star Amy Slaton was arrested at a Tennessee zoo on Monday and charged with drug possession and endangering a child.

Officers at Tennessee Safari Park were “immediately surprised by suspicious odors coming from a visitor's vehicle” when they responded to a 911 call that a zoo visitor had been bitten by a camel, the Crockett County Sheriff's Department wrote on Facebook.

The 36-year-old reality star was arrested and charged with illegal possession of Schedule I and VI drugs and two counts of child endangerment, authorities confirmed.

A man, Brian Scott Lovvorn, who was in the vehicle with Slaton, was also arrested on the same charges.

“Both individuals were taken to the Crockett County Jail,” the sheriff’s office said.

“The charges and allegations mentioned in this press release are merely allegations of criminal conduct and not evidence.”

Police released a mug shot of Slaton, who is wearing an orange jumpsuit and looks quite battered.

The police also published Lovvorn's mugshot in the Facebook post.

The news comes after Slaton finalized her divorce from ex-husband Michael Halterman in September 2023.

He filed for divorce in March 2023.

In documents obtained by Page Six at the time, Halterman requested a restraining order keeping the TLC star 500 feet away from him. He also requested that they stay 500 feet away from each other.

The ex-partners eloped in 2017 and tied the knot two years later in a more formal wedding ceremony in front of the camera.

They have two sons together: Gage, 3, and Glenn, 2.

Slaton weighed more than 400 pounds when she first appeared with her sister Tammy Slaton on their popular television series in January 2020.

She has since undergone gastric bypass surgery, which has resulted in her losing over 77 kilograms.
