Shoals Technologies Group Obtains Favorable First-Line Judgment in ITC Case against Voltage, LLC Page 1

Ruling represents major victory for US solar industry and American jobs

PORTLAND, Tenn., Sept. 3, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. (“Shoals”) (Nasdaq: SHLS), a global leader in electric balance-of-system (“EBOS”) solutions for the energy transition market, today announced that it has received a favorable judgment from the U.S. International Trade Commission (“ITC”) in its patent infringement lawsuit against Voltage, LLC and an affiliated foreign company (“Voltage”). On August 30, 2024, an ITC administrative law judge issued an initial judgment finding that Voltage violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing infringing LYNX intercity bus products into the United States.

In addition, Shoals was recently granted two new patents covering Shoals' BLA technology, U.S. Patents 12,015,375 and 12,015,376, in addition to Patent 153 (U.S. Patent 11,689,153) that Voltage infringed in the ITC case.
