Biker (64) seriously injured in crash with car

A serious motorcycle accident occurred in Oberstaufen on Monday afternoon between the districts of Aach and Weißach. A car cut off a biker's right of way and hit him.

On Monday afternoon, a 64-year-old motorcyclist was driving on the state road between Aach and Weißach in Oberstaufen. According to the police, a 61-year-old car driver wanted to turn left into the road at the same time. In doing so, he took the motorcyclist's right of way. His car hit the motorcycle in the middle.

The force of the impact threw the biker and his motorcycle into a bus shelter on the side of the road. He suffered serious injuries. Emergency services were called and took the 64-year-old to hospital by helicopter. The driver who caused the accident was not injured. Both vehicles were written off.
