Nadeshot saves Scump from suffocation and asks for gifted subs in return

A terrible night ended embarrassingly for three Call of Duty streamers.

Details are a bit sparse, but it appears that Mason “Symfuhny” Lanier, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, Seth “Scump” Abner, Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar, and others went out for Mexican food over the weekend. What started as a fun night with the guys from Call of Duty ended with Scump choking on his dinner.

Nadeshot rushed to Scump and ultimately saved his life. It would have been a moment of heroism, but the event was overshadowed by a strange interaction between the two.

During a stream, Symfuhny recalled his evening with other Call of Duty streamers, including Nadeshot and Scump.

Symfuhny and TimTheTatman were shocked at what happened. After saving Scump from choking on his food, Nadeshot asked for free subs.

“He asked for free substitutes not long after,” Syumfuhny added.

According to the group of streamers, it seemed as though Nadeshot was putting a “price” on Scump's life. How many gifted subs was a life saved worth? The streamers did not reveal how many gifted subs Nadeshot had asked for, but someone had jokingly asked TimTheTatman how many gifted subs they would give someone for saving him, proving the wildness of the request.

Symfuhny recalled that after the choking incident, Scump continued to apologize for scaring everyone, but the group told him not to apologize and expressed that they were simply relieved that he was still there.

“I can’t believe he almost died,” Symfuhny said.

Fans weren't shocked by Nadeshot's behavior, however. The CoD community noted that the streamer has always been a bit toxic. After losing a 1v1 challenge to FaZe Banks, he still seemed to have some kind words to say days later.

Scump has not publicly commented on the incident involving the gifted sub. Neither has Nadehsot, although he recently tweeted about “fake friends” after Scump and others allegedly didn't show up when he texted the group chat to hang out by the pool and have a few drinks. Apparently no one showed up. It's unclear if this was before or after the choking incident.
