Bucs LB Yaya Diaby returns to training after Anke's injury

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have no questions about their offense. However, their defense will have some questions to answer in 2024. The pass rush will have to help make up for some deficiencies at cornerback and pass coverage. Among those who have proven effective in that area is linebacker Yaya Diaby, who has been out since August 1 with an ankle injury.

Fortunately, he chose Monday of the first week to return to training and give everyone a sign of relief.

Fox Sports' Greg Auman reported the news when he shared a picture of Diaby from the Bucs' practice on Monday. His return comes less than a week before the Buca face the Washington Commanders and their new rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Having a reliable pass rusher against the Commanders will be crucial to the Bucs' success. The Commanders will have a new look on both sides of the ball, and if they can control at least one of them, it could lead to victory.
