Capcom Fighting Collections now also for Xbox! / Xbox News

Last week, Capcom announced two collections of classic fighting games for this year: the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. After an outcry from the Xbox community over the two not being released on Microsoft's platform, there is now some good news!

Capcom announced via Twitter/X that after talks with Microsoft, they will now bring both collections to the Xbox – not this year, but at least in 2025.

The “Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics” contains seven classics from the arcades:

  • The Punisher (1993)
  • X-Men: Children of the Atom (1994)
  • Marvel Super Heroes (1995)
  • X-Men vs. Street Fighter (1996)
  • Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter (1997)
  • Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (1998)
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (2000)

After the “Capcom Fighting Collection” has been available since 2022, the “Capcom Fighting Collection 2” contains the following eight games, all of which can now also be played online or in co-op mode:

  • Plasma Sword: Bilstein's Nightmare (1998)
  • Powerstone (1999)
  • Powerstone 2 (2000)
  • Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro (2000)
  • Project Justice (2000)
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper Part (2001)
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 (2001)
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution (2004)

How do you rate the game?

This rating for registered users is based on the quality of the stars awarded. Be fair in your rating… [+]: Only rarely does a good game deserve the highest rating and of course a weaker game does not always have to be completely penalized. The more objectively you award your stars, the more meaningful the overall rating will be in the end. [–]
