Chelsea receives a huge boost from midfield injuries just in time for their match against Bournemouth

Chelsea have received a huge reinforcement in midfield ahead of their next Premier League match against Bournemouth on September 14.

At least as far as the injury situation is concerned, the international break comes at a good time because there is still a short break until Chelsea's next game and some of the injured players have the chance to get fit and ready to play again.

One of them will be Romeo Lavia, who Chelsea have indeed missed so much in midfield. Blues fans will be hoping that we don't get a repeat of last season, when Lavia literally only played one game. They will be hoping that we don't get another Reece James, constantly out injured.

But this is good news and Lavia should be back in time to face Bournemouth in the league.

This is according to a report in the Telegraph, which states that Romeo Lavía is set to start training again in order to be fit for the game against Bournemouth.

This will be a huge boost for Chelsea and Enzo Maresca, as Lavia is undoubtedly the pinnacle and heart of the style of football that the new head coach wants to implement at Stamford Bridge this season.

After a 1-1 draw at home to Crystal Palace in their last game, Chelsea will be looking to take all three points against Bournemouth if they really want to get back to the top.
