Drunk man rapes mother in Rajasthan's Bundi, arrested

Kota (Rajasthan): A 28-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his mother while drunk in Bundi district, police said on Wednesday.

According to police, the incident occurred on Friday when the accused was returning home to a village with his 52-year-old mother.

After the incident, the victim came to the Dabi police station along with her younger son and daughter and filed a complaint against her son, police said.

The police arrested the accused, who confessed to his crime during the first interrogation. He was brought before the court and sent to prison.

According to police, the victim had gone to her brother's house with her son. When they both returned, he raped his mother in a secluded place.

“We have arrested the accused and further investigation is underway. The accused was produced before a court which remanded him in judicial custody,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Tarunkant Somani.
