RTLzwei gave its scandalous reality show “Battle of the Famous Faces” a facelift. This transformation means that Cathy Hummels No longer directs the show. The network announced that after five seasons they are aiming for a “content transformation”. Hummels herself has indicated on Instagram that she needs more time in her private life and wants to take her son's school life into consideration.

The television network has not yet revealed what changes will be made to the series, in which celebrities and stars live on a Thai beach and fight for a big win. Entertainment boss Malte Kruber simply commented: “The Battle of the Reality Stars will continue to develop, delight our numerous fans with exciting modifications and reinvent the entire concept.”

The changes to Battle of the Famous Faces have sparked media interest, with speculation about the show's future direction. Despite the restructuring, the series remains a major force in the reality TV show space.
