Woman and three small children found shot in vehicle in Utah – Crime Online

A woman and three children were found shot to death in a car in a northern Utah city on Tuesday evening.

The Weber County Sheriff's Office told the Gephardt Daily that the four were found by a family member in a West Haven neighborhood shortly before 10 p.m.

“When officers arrived, they found four people dead and beyond help,” said Weber County Sheriff's Sergeant Sean Endsley. “It appears to be related to gunshot trauma, but of course the exact cause and nature of the incident have not yet been determined.”

Endsley said the adult is about 32 years old and the children are a 4-year-old boy and 2- and 1-year-old girls.

Further information, including the names of the victims, has not been released, although investigators told KSTU that the four victims were residents of the neighborhood. The sheriff's office said it had no information “substantiating a related or ongoing threat to public safety.”
