A6 London Way closed near Walton-le-Dale due to ongoing incident

A spokesman said: “The A6 London Way, Walton-Le-Dale is currently closed near the roundabout with the B6230 Hennel Lane for safety reasons.

“We expect the road to be closed for some time while we assess the situation.

“In the meantime, we recommend that you look for an alternative route and drive carefully, allowing enough extra time to reach your destination.”
