Police in Johnston search for man who allegedly stole money from employee locker

JOHNSTON, RI (WLNE) — Johnston Police are searching for a person accused of stealing cash and a debit card from Ocean State Job Lot.

According to authorities, it happened on August 2 when a suspect entered the Ocean State Job Lot on Atwood Avenue in Johnston and went to the employee office area where lockers are located.

According to officials, the suspect stole $400 in cash and a debit card from an unsecured locker.

The debit card was allegedly later used at Cumberland Farms and Walmart in Warwick.

On August 29, the same suspect allegedly returned to Job Lot and again attempted to enter the office/locker room, but was unable to do so because the door was locked.
