Suspect in Bardstown shooting incident charged with attempted murder

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WAVE) – Two men are charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Bardstown.

On September 3rd at approximately 8:40 p.m., Bardstown Police officers were dispatched to the Filiatreau Lane area for a report of a shooting. Officers said the victim was able to give officers a description of the individuals involved and the vehicle they were driving. The suspects and their vehicle were located a short time later.

After obtaining a search warrant, police found empty cartridge cases and a gun in the vehicle that were believed to have been used in the shooting.

The suspects, James Daniel Revelle, 22, and Zemond Devon Turley, 24, are being held at the Nelson County Correctional Center.

Bail for each of the defendants was set at $500,000. Revelle and Turley are scheduled to appear in court on September 10.

According to Bardstown police, no one was injured in the shooting and all those involved have been identified.
