Role in the new thriller “The Drowning Pool”

Ruby Rose will star in the new thriller “The Drowning Pool.”

The 38-year-old actress will play the roles in the dark film directed by David Hackl.

The new film is about the mysterious disappearance of American surfer Isabelle Gray in the sea of ​​the Canary Islands. Isabelle is thought to be drunk, but her distraught sister Katherine refuses to leave the islands until she gets answers. She discovers that her sister was not the only woman to have disappeared into the sea without a trace. Defying the lack of help from local authorities, Katherine follows a series of increasingly frightening clues. Pre-production on the upcoming thriller, written by Colin McNeil and Daniel Minsky, has begun in the Canary Islands, while The Exchange presented the film to buyers at the Toronto Film Festival. Nat McCormick, President of Worldwide Sales and Distribution at The Exchange, revealed in a statement: “'The Drowning Pool' is a fresh and exciting story set in a dream vacation spot and featuring a renowned international cast. We look forward to diving into the project with our distribution partners around the world.”
