Pop art in the “art gallery”

The “Art Gallery” at Bad Dürkheimer Stadtplatz is hosting its new exhibition from this week. On display are paintings and mixed media works by Frankfurt artist Michele di Sarno, Mannheim resident Verena König, and Günter Hornung and Isolde Hesse from Gerolsheim, the latter co-operator of the “Art Gallery”, and she is the wife of co-gallery owner Günter Hesse and also works as a curator in the gallery. The above Minnie Mouse in front of a collage-like background and under the title of a well-known men's magazine is by di Sarno. There are also new sculptures by gallery artists Iwona Kraijnik, Dariusz Zielienski and Stanford Fata. The show “Wake up and be famous” will be officially opened on Friday, September 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It runs until October 12, Thursdays and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
