New twist in the investigation into the murder of Teefi Butt's brother-in-law

Lahore Police have completed geofencing operations at the crime scene. Murder of brother-in-law of Teefi Butt – the accused in Amir Balaj murder case – and suspicious calls are shortlisted after geofencing.

Geofencing has been completed at the crime scene and adjacent areas. The victim was shot dead in broad daylight to fuel gang warfare on the metropolis' busiest road, Canal Road.

Police said they had made contact to record statements from the complainant and the victim's wife.

According to police, the defendants named in the case are still missing from the crime scene following the incident.

Police said detailed eyewitness accounts were needed to determine the punishment for the shooters. Police conducted a raid to arrest the accused, but no suspect has been arrested yet.
