Police rushed to Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow for two incidents

Officers were originally called because a drone was seen flying near the East End prison at around 11.45pm on Wednesday 4 September.

999 officers then rushed to the area. Police then claimed to have discovered several items, including suspected drugs, in an open area near Gartcraig Road.

Police then searched for a man who was behaving “suspiciously” in the area.

Officers suspect the man may have been using an e-bike, but were unable to locate him.
