Accident near Kunersdorf: Combine harvester blocks country road after crash

An accident occurred this morning on the country road between Kunersdorf and Limberg when a transporter and a combine harvester tried to avoid each other on the narrow stretch of road. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch and hit trees. Fortunately, no one was injured. However, the recovery of the combine harvester is proving difficult and is still ongoing. The material damage caused is estimated at around 50,000 euros.

The police said:

Die The country road between Kunersdorf and Limberg has been closed since Thursday morning. A FORD transporter and a combine harvester were driving towards each other on the narrow road shortly before 11:00 a.m. and tried to avoid each other. Both vehicles veered off the road and hit trees. No one was injured. The recovery of the heavy agricultural vehicle is still ongoing. An initial estimate puts the damage at around 50,000 euros.

Kolkwitz: A FORD driver made a driving error and crashed into a property fence on Friedensweg on Wednesday afternoon. No one was injured and the car remained drivable despite damages of around 2,000 euros.

Advertise: An AUDI car and a VW collided in a right-of-way accident on Burger Street on Wednesday at around 3 p.m. The occupants survived the crash unharmed, but the damage to the cars that were still drivable was quite high at around 7,000 euros.

Forestry: On Wednesday afternoon, thieves stole a moped from a parking lot on Heinrich-Heine-Straße, as the police were informed at around 12:30 p.m. Another motorcycle theft was reported on Thursday morning from Schulstraße. Thieves had stolen an Aprilla from a property here. The reports immediately led to a search for the blue SIMSON S51B and the SX 125.

Guben: On Wednesday afternoon, the police received a report of cellar break-ins in an apartment building on Kaltenborner Strasse. Three bicycles were stolen from the building's communal cellar. The thieves also forced their way into two sheds. No information has yet been given about the possible stolen goods. The damage to the cellars and the value of the stolen bicycles total around 900 euros.

Welzow: Damage of around 2,000 euros is the result of a wildlife accident that was reported to the police in Welzow on Wednesday at around 8:15 p.m. A deer ran in front of a VW car at the airfield. The driver was uninjured, but the animal died at the scene of the accident.
