There is a stop on admission, said a spokeswoman for the Berlin swimming pool company. However, the outdoor pool was not cleaned up because the incident occurred in the entrance area.

According to police, a couple and three other people got into an argument at around 12:55 p.m. on Thursday. A knife was used, said a police spokesman. A woman and a man were injured. The RBB had previously reported.

According to police, two suspected perpetrators initially fled. One man was caught a short time later. He did not provide any further information.

Almost two weeks ago, a bather and security guards clashed because the Columbiabad was overcrowded.

Because he couldn't get in, a 29-year-old man didn't want to leave the entrance area. This led to physical altercations.

In the summer of 2023, the outdoor pool in Neukölln was evacuated several times because of violent youths. Violent incidents also occurred in other pools.

The Berlin swimming pool operators have taken measures together with the city. These show the company's success from a company perspective. A spokeswoman said a few days ago that they are satisfied with the development so far.

At the beginning of this week, there was a spontaneous concert in the pool with musicians from Neukölln – including Peter Fox (53, “Haus am See”). He said: “We wanted to do something in a place that has recently had a lot of negative press. Let's have fun here today!”
