Crash on the K174: 33-year-old collides with tree and dies

06.09.24 – Serious traffic accident on Thursday afternoon: At around 3 p.m. there was an accident on county road 174 between Rodgau and Dietzebach (Offenbach district). A 33-year-old man drove his vehicle off the road and crashed into a tree. He succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident.

According to the current state of the police investigation, the 33-year-old was driving a white Hyundai without a passenger on the county road from Rodgau towards Dietzenbach. Shortly after the junction to the local gravel works, he left the road for unknown reasons and collided with a tree.

An expert was called in to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident and the completely damaged vehicle was secured. The measures are still ongoing and the road is still completely closed.
