Switch Controller Rematch Glow glows in the dark

Turtle Beach and its subsidiary PDP have introduced the Rematch Glow, a special controller for the Nintendo Switch. The input device with the Boo-Hoo ghost from the “Super Mario” games glows in the dark – and then shows a different motif. There is also a matching protective case that also glows in the dark and changes the design.

There are also other motifs with Grand Prix Mario and Blackout Bowser that can also glow in the dark. However, they will initially only be available in the USA. Turtle Beach says the battery life for all variants of the Rematch Glow is 40 hours. The Switch controllers also have integrated motion sensors and a wireless range of around 9 meters with low latency. Thanks to dual, programmable back buttons, players can further customize the controller.

There is also the Designed for Xbox Titan Steel Rematch Glow Advanced Wired Controller. That's right, this is also wired. It can be used not only on an Xbox console, but also on Windows 10 or Windows 11. This controller also glows in the dark. It can be customized using the PDP Control app. With the app you can, among other things, reassign buttons, reconfigure triggers and adjust the dead zones. The Titan Steel Rematch Advanced Wired Controller can be pre-ordered now and will be available from October 25, 2024 at an RRP of 39.99 euros.

Players can also order the officially licensed Rematch Glow Wireless Controller for the Nintendo Switch for a recommended retail price of 59.99 euros. The Boo Hoo version will be available in Germany on October 8th, and the Grand Prix Mario edition will be released in the USA on the same day. The same applies to the Blackout Bowser version of the controller. This will be available in the USA from September 22nd. The Boo Hoo Travel Case Plus Glow will be available in Germany from October 8th for a recommended retail price of 19.99 euros.
