Arconia remains a dangerous place for its residents. This will of course please everyone who likes the crime comedy “Only Murders in the Building”, because Hulu has announced that a fifth season is coming. There will again be ten new episodes. The current fourth season only started recently and is popular and successful enough to make this step now.

Series creator John Hoffman had this to say about the renewal to TVLine: “In this day and age, it's extraordinary to have five seasons of anything, and it's all thanks to this incredible team. I'm so honored to work with everyone in front of and behind the camera on this show. I love the challenge of bringing our best each season and taking the podcast into a whole new world. That's the other thing: We're all interested in the art and the way we evolve. Everyone had the same mindset on this thing, and it's a beautiful feeling for all of us to have this moment with the show and know how it's been received in the world and that people have embraced it. It's overwhelming.”

The 4th season of “Only Murders in the Building”

Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez once again form the central trio as amateur detectives and true crime podcasters.

Charles, Oliver and Mabel grapple with the shocking events surrounding Charles' stunt double and girlfriend Sazz Pataki (played by recurring guest star Jane Lynch), the official synopsis states. As they question whether Sazz or Charles was the actual target of an assassination attempt, our trio is led to Los Angeles, where a Hollywood studio is preparing a film about the Only Murders podcast – a film that is set to star Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis and Eva Longoria. As our amateur sleuths return to New York, they embark on an even more epic journey – crossing the courtyard of their building to delve into the intertwined lives of the residents of Arconia's West Tower.
