The KWWSPCA dog show will take place tomorrow in Punchestown

A few weeks ago we asked for a long-term foster home for Paudie, who has an old paw injury and has spent his entire ten-year life as a stud dog on a puppy farm.

We wanted him to be able to spend his final years in peace as a “normal dog”. Fortunately, this special foster home was found and Paudie seemed very happy to be able to leave the shelter in style.

We are very grateful to his foster family and actually to all of our foster families whose help we rely on in special cases like Paudie. We all wish him a very happy retirement!

Annual Dog Show
Our annual dog show will take place on Sunday 8th September in the parade ring at Punchestown Racecourse.
This is always a very entertaining day with several dog show classes in the ring including Most Beautiful Bitch, Most Wagging Tail and the always popular and very competitive Dog That Likes Its Owner Most category.

Registration begins at 1pm and the show and fun begins around 2pm. There is plenty to see and it really is a great day for dogs with the emphasis on a fun afternoon for all. Parking is free and there is no admission fee.
So mark your calendars and head to Punchestown Racecourse this Sunday 8th September and enjoy the fun.
