Will the famous crew of George Clooney and Brad Pitt return to the screen in “Ocean's 14”?

You can't stop a good thief from doing what he does best, and you can't stop Hollywood's top actors from playing thieves again and again. This is especially true since George Clooney and Brad Pitt seem eager to Ocean 14the fourth film that brings them back together as a pair of delightfully charming master thieves.

Accordingly DeadlineThe duo have asked director Edward Berger to direct their characters' next heist. However, there is a small problem – Clooney's character Danny Ocean is supposed to be dead!

Last year, Clooney mentioned in an interview with Uproxx that he would be open to working with Pitt and the rest of the crew again for a new film in the series. “We have a really good script for another film, so we might end up doing another one. The truth is, it's a very good script,” Clooney said, hinting that it doesn't necessarily have to mean Ocean 14. He added that the concept would rather go in the direction Leave in style (1979).

Earlier this year, Steven Soderbergh, the director of the previous three films in the series, confirmed his exit from the franchise, stating that the series was “finished” and there was nothing more to add. In addition, several members of the original “crew”, Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner, are no longer with us.

The original Ocean 11 was released in 1960, starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop. The 2001 remake, Ocean's Elevenstarring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia and Julia Roberts, grossed $450 million worldwide and spawned two sequels: Oceans 12 (2004) and Ocean 13 (2007).

Clooney and Pitt recently appeared on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival for their upcoming film Wolveswill be in theaters on September 20th.
