Oklahoma State star linebacker leaves Arkansas game due to injury

In a close game against the Arkansas Razorbacks, Oklahoma State's top linebacker Collin Oliver left the game limping. It was later announced on the broadcast that he would need to undergo an X-ray of his lower right leg.

His departure came right after the most important play of the game, which was largely Oliver's fault. Arkansas quarterback Taylor Green put together another impressive drive, and Oliver was able to apply pressure on a crucial third down, leading to a wild throw from the quarterback. The ball ended up in the hands of Kale Smith, who carried it 73 yards, marking a crucial turning point in the game.

There is no update on Oliver, but his loss is a big one for the Cowboys if he can't return. Last season as a junior, he finished with 45 solo tackles, six sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss in 14 games.

He left the game early in the second quarter with the Cowboys trailing by just seven points. Despite this, OSU almost forced another fumble to regain momentum, but the runner's knee was bad.
