What is the story

The Magadh Express derailed on Sunday on the Buxar-DDU-Patna railway section in Bihar.

The incident occurred near Dharauli, close to Twining Ganj Station in Buxar.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

According to eyewitness reports, the train broke into two parts after the derailment.

The Magadh Express was en route from New Delhi to Patna when the accident occurred.

Details of the train journey and recent derailments

The train had just left Dumraon station at 11:00 am when the incident occurred a few minutes later.

This derailment followed a series of similar accidents in recent months.

On Saturday, two coaches of the Indore-Jabalpur Express train derailed while approaching Jabalpur railway station in Madhya Pradesh.

No passengers were injured in this incident.

However, not all recent transgressions have been without casualties.

In Seraikela-Kharsawan district of Jharkhand, a derailment on the Mumbai-Howrah Express left two people dead and over 20 injured.

Fatal derailments in Uttar Pradesh and Balasore

In another tragic incident, several coaches of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express derailed between Motiganj and Jhulahi stations in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, in July.

At least four people were killed in this accident and around 30 people were injured.

On August 17, 20 coaches of the Ahmedabad-Varanasi Sabarmati Express derailed near Kanpur railway station in Uttar Pradesh.
