Three defendants arrested for running brothels in San Jose

SAN JOSE, California.A community effort to share tips has led to the arrest of three suspected human traffickers in San Jose.

San Jose police reported the arrest of 34-year-old Naisong Tong, 60-year-old Guihua Tao and 53-year-old Zhiqiang Liu on Thursday.

The trio is accused of operating brothels in the 200 block of Palacio Royal Circle, the 700 block of Bonita Avenue and the 1100 block of Gifford Avenue.

During a raid on the suspected brothels on August 28, four adult victims of human trafficking were rescued, according to police.

Police said they had received numerous tips from the public and their anti-trafficking task force had investigated allegations of residential brothels.

Tong and Tao were arrested the same day when warrants were executed in San Jose. Liu was arrested in San Jose on Tuesday.

All three were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on human trafficking charges. Tong and Tao have since been released, but Liu remains incarcerated at the Elmwood Men's Correctional Complex.
