Sir David Jason is famous for his truly iconic role as Derek “Del Boy” Trotter in Only Fools and Horses.

The BBC sitcom was first broadcast in 1981 and follows businessman Del Boy and the Trotter family as they search for quick money to eventually become millionaires.

The television star, born David John White in 1940, has been the epitome of British comedy and drama for years.

Sir David's roles have included Granville in Open All Hours, Blanco in Porridge, Pop Larkin in The Darling Buds of May, DI Frost in A Touch of Frost and many more.

However, acting seems to be a talent that runs in Sir David's family, as he has a famous brother.

91-year-old Arthur White appeared alongside his younger brother in several episodes of the police drama “A Touch of Frost” in the role of PC Ernie Trigg.

Arthur, born in London in 1933, also appeared in several popular television series.

Between 1995 and 2001, Arthur played Derek in the ITV series “London's Burning” before playing the role of Albert Fogerty in “Heartbeat” in 2006. He also landed the role of Sidney Bickton in “Holby City”.

Arthur's other television appearances include Doctors, Family Affairs: Grange Hill and many other roles dating back to the 1950s.

Not only did the brothers star alongside Sir David in A Touch of Frost, but they were also spotted together in another popular show.

In 1991, Arthur played the role of Uncle Pearce alongside his brother David in two episodes of The Darling Buds of May.

In 2010, the actor appeared in the documentary “13 Hours That Saved Britain,” which sheds light on the dramatic events of the decisive Battle of Britain.

Arthur spoke about his experiences in World War II and in London during the Blitz.
