Whenever news comes from the film and television world about the sudden death of someone, there is grief among the fans. Discussions start on social media and people ask how and why it happened. The same thing happened when the death news of popular television actor Vikas Sethi came out yesterday. The sudden death of the 48-year-old actor shocked and disturbed people. The actor suffered a heart attack and was fatally injured in the process. Now, after his death, his wife has spoken to PTI and narrated what happened to the actor before his death.

Vikas died in his sleep

Television shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kahin To Hoga' and 'Sasural Simar Ka' made Vikas Sethi famous in every household. Actor Vikas Sethi died of a heart attack in Nashik on Saturday night in his sleep. According to Vikas' wife Jhanvi Sethi, he had travelled to Nashik to attend a family function. The actor was vomiting and had diarrhoea but did not want to go to the hospital. He died of a heart attack in his sleep.

“When we reached my mother's house in Nashik, he was complaining of vomiting and diarrhea. He did not want to go to the hospital, so we asked the doctor to come home. When I tried to wake him up on Sunday morning at around 6 am, he was no longer in this world. The doctor there told us that he had died of a heart attack in his sleep on the night of Saturday to Sunday,” his wife said.

Jhanvi also said that his body has been sent to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai for postmortem. His last rites will be held in Mumbai on Monday. He leaves behind his wife and twin sons.

Vikas was a known face on television. He also acted in daily soaps like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kahin To Hoga', 'Kasauti Zindagi Ki', 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Yeh Vaada Raha'. He was part of the 2001 hit film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'. In it, he played the role of Poo (Kareena Kapoor's) date Robbie. He also acted in films like 'Deewanapan', 'Oops', 'Modh' and 'iSmart Shankar'. As for his personal life, his first marriage did not last long. He was also part of the fourth season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye with his first wife Amita. In 2018, he married Janhvi and both of them became parents in 2021.
