A1: Driver arrested after car accident and taken to hospital

The collision occurred yesterday (Sunday 8 September) at around 3.50pm south of Biggleswade.

A black Volkswagen Golf with spray-painted stars collided with the central barrier after failing to stop for police further south. No other vehicle was involved.

The driver was taken to hospital and arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information or dashcam footage of the car travelling north from the Barnet Bypass at around 3.25pm.
