JBL Tour Pro 3: Best technology with impressive sound and noise cancelling

With an overall score of 1.1 (“very good”), the JBL Tour Pro 3 achieved a top rating in the test by Computer Bild. The sound quality and features are among the best you can currently get. Thanks to the two drivers in each earphone, the JBL Tour Pro 3 delivers a Impressive mix of clear highs and deep bass. With the optional head tracking, the head position is recorded and the location of the audio signal is adjusted to the position, which according to JBL should make the sound sound more natural. JBL has also continued to refine the noise cancelling function: There are six microphones in the headphones that capture, among other things, outside noise. These noises are analysed, and at the same time the plugs emit counter-sound to the ears. This causes a wave transmission in the ear canals and the user only perceives silence. The noise cancelling also offers a adaptive modewhereby the noise cancellation automatically adapts to the ambient volume. Whether you're browsing through your favorite playlist or just want to switch off – the JBL Tour Pro 3 takes your audio experience to a new level!

Charging case with touchscreen

As with the JBL Tour Pro 2, the Smart Charging Case has an integrated touch display. In contrast to the previous model, the redesigned charging case now has a 30 percent larger screen, but is still more compact and easier to handle. The display can be used to control the various headphone functions (such as music playback and call management) – without the need for the phone. In addition, important information such as battery status and time are shown on the display. Another highlight of the JBL Tour Pro 3 is the new Bluetooth technology Auracast: This allows audio content to be shared with any Auracast-enabled device using the Auracast button on the touch display. And with Up to 44 hours battery life The JBL Tour Pro 3 is always ready for use. If you do run out of power, a ten-minute quick charge is enough for another three hours of music enjoyment.

JBL Tour Pro 2 as a more cost-effective alternative

If the almost 300 euros for the JBL Tour Pro 3 headphones is too much for you, you should take a closer look at the previous model. The JBL Tour Pro 2 also has a Smart Charging Case and scores points with good sound and a battery life of up to 40 hours. However, you will have to do without the new functions such as Auracast with this model. And you will have to make some compromises when it comes to noise cancelling – especially compared to the new JBL Tour Pro 3.
