Man shot dead in southwest Houston – police search for two suspects

Police are searching for two men suspected of shooting another man in southwest Houston early this morning.

The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. in the 8900 block of Lipan Road, near Fondren Road.

According to Houston police, the victim was talking with the two men outside the building when the suspects suddenly pulled out a gun and shot him. Moments later, the two men returned to the scene and shot the victim multiple times before fleeing again.

Authorities are still investigating the motive for the shooting and are asking anyone with information to contact HPD's Homicide Unit at 713-308-3600.
