Following the death of an unidentified man who was struck and killed by a Nissan Caravan (commonly known as a station wagon) early Friday morning, residents are grappling with a tragic mystery.

The incident occurred along 12th Avenue Extension in Bulawayo and authorities are currently searching for answers and the identity of the dead man.

According to a statement by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) on X, the fatal accident occurred on September 8 at about 1:15 am. The victim was described as an adult aged about 35 and was wearing brown trousers and a black jacket when he was struck by the station wagon with registration number AFE 7547.

The police are asking the public for help in identifying the dead manThey are urging anyone who has a relative who fits the description to contact Bulawayo Central Police Station.

The circumstances of the accident are still unclear and the investigation is ongoing. The police are examining the scene of the accident and interviewing witnesses to determine the cause of the accident and any negligence.
