Nancy Pelosi ambushed at book signing because of Wall Street wealth

Nancy Pelosi could be forgiven for thinking she had a partisan crowd around her as fans lined up in Fort Worth, Texas, to get a signed copy of her new memoir. The Art of Power.

But the friendly smile disappeared from the face of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives when a conservative comedian disguised as a supporter ambushed her and asked her questions about the millions she allegedly made on Wall Street.

Wearing a medical mask, Alex Strenger approached Pelosi and flattered her by saying that in his opinion Donald Trump belongs behind bars.

Despite appearing to have pushed his way to the front, Strenger was allowed to continue his conversation with Pelosi, who smiled at his comments even as security guards seemed increasingly uncomfortable with the intruder, who introduced himself as “Noah.”

“I'm a UTA candidate,” he continued. “I've been listening. I couldn't get a book, it was sold out, but I want to say how much I appreciate your passionate, staunch defense of democracy. That really means so much to you, you know? And, you know, frankly, I'm really scared that Donald Trump wins the election. And frankly, with all the disinformation about X, you know, our only chance is for Donald Trump to spend the rest of his life in prison. That's the only hope for democracy. We just have to win the election.”

“We do,” Pelosi agreed, looking a little uncertain but still smiling.

“So, Nancy, listen. Sure. Last question. What stocks should I buy? Nancy, you're the best options trader ever. I just want to know what stocks should I buy. What I just want to know is what your biggest concern is?”

As security guards hustled Strenger toward the door and some book patrons booed him and told him to leave, he continued, “The police are an instrumental institution of white supremacy and racism. I don't understand why they're even here. They should be defunded.”

“I just want to know, she makes six figures a year in Congress and has a net worth of $100 million. Don't you want to know what stocks she should be buying? Come on. I just want to know. I just want to know what stocks I should be buying. I want to close the wealth gap. What's the problem? I just want to close the wealth gap.”

Pelosi reportedly has an estimated net worth of more than $250 million. Daily Mailand earlier this summer, Yahoo! Finance reported that she earned 20 times her salary on a single trade, making nearly $4 million in profit from trading Nvidia stock that her husband Paul, a venture capitalist, had bought.

When asked about the stock transactions, Pelosi denied owning any stocks.

Strenger trolled the British BBC at the Democratic Party Convention and posed as an ardent supporter of Kamala Harris.
