Kelsea Ballerini's Dog Dibs Helps Announce New York Concert

Country singer Kelsea Ballerini celebrates the release of her new album Pattern with a performance on October 29th at New York's Madison Square Garden. Patternwhich is due to be released on October 25th, is Ballerini's latest project since 2023 Roll out the red carpeta 16-minute EP that earned her a nomination for Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammys, and her 2022 album Subject to change.

“While I was making this album, I was constantly thinking up possibilities and imagining how I could bring it to life for our live show, and I couldn’t wait more than five days after the release to finish it,” Ballerini said of Pattern in a statement.

Ballerini announced the show with a bittersweet video of her dog Dibs taking a helicopter ride over New York. In August, Ballerini shared that Dibs had been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. “We filmed this a few weeks before we learned of Dibs' diagnosis, which makes this announcement even more emotional and sentimental,” she tweeted. “He really loved frolicking around NYC and poured his good spirits into MSG getting it ready for all of us.”

For PatternBallerini has brought together a crew of powerful female artists: Songwriter Hall of Fame member Hillary Lindsey, songwriter Jessie Jo Dillon and Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild. The 15-track album is about female friendships, moments of vulnerability and unfiltered relationships.

“I feel creatively free and emotionally open,” Ballerini said in a statement. “Very awake to real life and my patterns that contribute to my current reality. I'm ready to share that.”
