Body found in Ingleby Barwick during search for missing man

On Monday, September 9, officers were called to a property in the area of ​​the housing development following reports that a body had been discovered there.

Although no formal identification has yet taken place, the family of missing Tom Lambert from Billingham have been informed.

Cleveland police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a coroner's file is being prepared.

Police said: “On Monday 9 September, police responded to a report that the body of a man had been found on a property in the Ingleby Barwick area.

“Although no official identification has yet been made, police have informed the family of missing 21-year-old Tom Lambert from Billingham and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
