Lupita Nyong'o wore Del Core and Gucci to the premiere of “The Wild Robot” at the Toronto Film Festival and TIFF Tribute Awards

Lupita Nyong'o made a double appearance on the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival on Sunday, where she attended the premiere of her new film “The Wild Robot” before presenting Cate Blanchett with the Share Her Journey Groundbreaker Award at the TIFF Tribute Awards.

In an unusual move, Lupita wore the same hairstyle at both events.

Premiere of “The Wild Robot”

Lupita's custom Del Core The dress immediately brought back memories of her iconic Prada dress from the 2014 Oscars. The delicate tulle fabric and open neckline reminded me of the unforgettable moment when she glided across the stage as an Oscar winner. Once again, Lupita swirled down the red carpet and showed off the layers of her dress. While the dress appeared see-through in some photos, Del Core revealed that the top layer was a pale sage tulle with hints of apple green shining through. The color combination looked mesmerizing against her skin and I am absolutely mesmerized by how the hues enhanced her already ethereal presence.

De Beers Jewels added a touch of sparkle to this romantic look, making it one of my favorite looks from the actress.

TIFF Tribute Awards

Later in the evening, Lupita made a splash in a tailored chocolate brown Gucci Dress for the TIFF Tribute Awards. I'm usually a little reserved when it comes to dark colors, but the sequins and sheer panels in this dress made it a total hit. Paired with a Gucci Bamboo 1947 top-handle mini bag, it mirrored a trend we've seen on other stars like Zhang Ziyi, who carried the same bag earlier this weekend. It seems like this accessory has become a staple in the brand's individual looks.

While both ensembles were stunning, the green Del Core The dress steals the show with its nostalgic connection, vibrant color and impeccable style. Lupita proves once again that she is a red carpet queen, effortlessly combining glamour with grace.
