According to sources, the 40-year-old dancer and DJ quietly checked into a motel less than a mile from his LA home on the morning of December 11, 2022. Hotel staff noticed that “tWitch” appeared calm, showed no visible signs of stress, and was carrying only a small bag.

He had booked the room for just one night. When “tWitch” missed his check-out time on December 12, the staff made a heartbreaking discovery: they found him dead in his room. He had apparently committed suicide.

At the time of “tWitch’s” tragic death, reports revealed that Holker stormed into an LAPD station in a panic, deeply concerned that her husband had left the house without a car – something that was completely out of character for the popular DJ and dancer.

Shortly thereafter, police responded to a 911 call from a Los Angeles hotel, where they tragically found “tWitch” dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that my husband Stephen has left us,” Allison said People Magazine back then. “Stephen lit up every room he walked into. Family, friends and community were more important to him than anything else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father and an inspiration to his fans.”

“To say he left a legacy would be an understatement and his positive influence will continue to be felt,” she added. “I am sure that not a day will go by that we do not honor his memory. We ask for privacy for myself and especially for our three children during this difficult time.”
