Antitrust case between US and Google begins; Princess of Wales declares she is ‘cancer-free’

Catherine, Princess of Wales, said she was “cancer-free” and was looking forward to making “some” public appearances after six months of chemotherapy.

Monday's announcement, which was accompanied by a lavish video of the princess with her husband Prince William and their three children, is welcome good news for the British royal family. Shortly before the princess announced in March that she was receiving cancer treatment, her father-in-law King Charles III announced he was receiving cancer treatment.

Neither of the two royals has given any further details about the type of cancer they have.

Catherine stressed that she will not have a full schedule for the time being.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for anyone, especially those closest to you,” she said. “Now I'm focused on doing everything I can to stay cancer-free.”
