Tems addresses pregnancy rumors with Future and people love her curvy figure

At the performance on The Breakfast Club Today (September 10) Tems not only talked about her new album Born in the wild, but there are bizarre pregnancy rumors from 2023 involving rapper Future.

DJ Envy began the conversation by asking the “Love Me JeJe” singer if she ever had to clear up rumors with her family members.

“Oh yeah,” she began. “I feel like people just go for the most controversial thing you can imagine. Because I thought, why am I pregnant? [and] why Future? Because that's the craziest thing. Why not Wiz[kid]”Why not Drake? Why not someone else?”

In September 2023, Tems was accused of being impregnated by her “Wait For U” co-star, which she apparently denied online. “To sum up, y'all are crazy!!!” she wrote at the time with a photo of herself.

In an interview with the Nigerian platform Show travel timeTems also said she was “shocked” that people had fallen for the rumors, adding that she had received death threats due to the “untrue” claims.

“I actually didn't think anyone believed it,” she began. “I didn't know it was serious. I didn't know until I started getting messages, like death threats. Like, 'How dare you! Future of all people? Really? Really, of all people?' And I've never – I've never met him in my life. So, it's crazy.”

Since Tems' body shows no signs of pregnancy, she also talked about how some people only love her for her natural curves. Around the 39:00 minute mark of her To be announced In the interview, the 29-year-old answered whether it ever bothers her when people talk about her figure.

“People react to your figure, does that bother you?” asked guest host Loren Lorosa. “Not at all,” Tems replied. “I don't even notice it unless they tell me directly, 'Oh, you're beautiful' or 'You look good.' I just think people are happy to see me.”

She added: “If they're happy to see me because of my body – I don't know, I don't care. I just say, 'Okay.'”
