Tips and predictions for Padres at Mariners

forecast

Mariners 3, Padres 2

Money line

The Sailor (-108) are worth watching behind Woo in the series finale. The right-handed starter from Seattle was nearly unhittable at T-Mobile Park, posting an astonishing 4-0 record with a 1.50 ERA in 42 IP in 7 starts.

While Woo's numbers make the M's look like a sure thing, King has also been solid for the Padres (-108), and the odds suggest this is truly a fluke. But given Woo's slightly better splits at home than King's numbers on the road, you have to side with Seattle.

Running Line/Against the Spread

Mariners +1.5 (-205) is just too expensive on the run line if you need insurance and are perhaps a little spooked by their loss in Tuesday's interleague series opener.

However, you can't risk more than twice your potential winnings. If you like Seattle, just bet on it directly.

HAPPEN.

Over/Under

UNDER 6.5 (+100) is worth an even-odds throw since we should have a pitcher's duel in SoDo.

King has excellent splits on the road, 8 wins and a 2.83 ERA, while Woo has a 4-0 record and a 1.50 ERA at home this season. Neither will be taking much. Go deep and feel confident doing so.
