Dave Bautista says CM Punk is underrated as an actor

In an interview with Buzzfeed Celeb, Dave Bautista talked about which WWE star would be suitable as an actor and he chose CM Punk, praising his acting talent. Punk has appeared in a few films, mostly horror films, as well as the television series Paragraphs.

Bautista said: “You know who I really overlooked as an actor? I don't know if he hasn't pursued it as much as he would have liked because he's still going strong in professional wrestling, but it's CM Punk, Phil Brooks. His acting potential is almost unlimited. I really want to see more of him as an actor. I would really like to work with him because I think he has a passion for acting, but I think his heart is still in professional wrestling and until he can let that go a little bit, he'll never be able to fully delve into acting, but I think Phil Brooks is a great actor.”

Bautista's latest film, The murderer's gamewhich also stars WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre, will be released in theaters on Friday, September 13th.
