Juliette Lewis and Mamoudou Athie headline By Design

Amanda Kramer wrote and directed an independent feature film titled By Designwhose production recently concluded in Los Angeles. The cast is led by Juliette Lewis (Yellow Jackets) and Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81).

Samantha Mathis (The Exorcism), Robin Tunney (Dear Edward), Clifton Collins Jr. (jockey), Udo Kier (Swan Song) and Betty Buckley (eternity) are also part of the cast. Natalie Whalen and Miranda Bailey of Cold Iron Pictures produced the film along with Sarah Winshall of Smudge Films, Jacob Agger and Amanda Kramer. The makers have not yet revealed any plot details, but describe the film as a variation on the “body swap” genre.

Lewis is an Oscar-nominated actor who is currently in Yellow JacketsHer upcoming projects include the thriller The thicketOpposite game of Thrones Star Peter Dinklage and the A24 horror film opusalongside John Malkovich and Ayo Edebiri.
