This rising country star will perform the second concert at Akins Ford Arena – and she's a UGA graduate

Attention all country music fans in Athens! Megan Moroney will bring her “Am I Okay?” tour to the Akins Ford Arena on April 4, 2025 at 8 p.m.

Moroney graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020 and then moved to Nashville to pursue her dreams. Now she's returning to Athens.

This is the second concert at the Akins Ford Arena (300 N. Thomas St.) following the B-52's performance next December.

This tour celebrates her critically acclaimed second album, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, making it the third biggest debut by a female country artist of the year.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, with pre-sales starting on Thursday at 12pm. Club Seat Access will also be available from Thursday at 11am.

Construction on the Akins Ford Arena has just been completed and the opening is scheduled for December 6th for the Rock Lobsters' first home game. The arena has 8,500 seats for concerts and events and 5,500 for ice hockey.
