Venom: The Last Dance trailer offers first look at Knull and Venom Fish

Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the final trailer for “Venom: The Last Dance,” the final part of the Spider-Man spin-off trilogy.

The nearly three-minute trailer gives fans their first look at the live-action version of Knull, the sinister god of darkness who created the alien symbiotes that infected Tom Hardy's character Eddie Brock. It only offers a brief glimpse of the villain, but his figure on a throne with clawed fingers and long white hair will look familiar to fans of the Marvel comics.

Venom also takes on some fun new forms in the film, some of which are shown in the trailer. These include a Venom fish and more of the dastardly Venom horse seen in the last trailer.

“In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy,” the synopsis reads. “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both their worlds and with the web closing in, the duo are forced to make a devastating decision that will bring down the curtain on Venom and Eddie's final dance.”

Fans won't have to wait long for the final part of the trilogy, as Venom: The Last Dance will be released on October 25, 2024 – two weeks earlier than the previously announced November release date, but several months after the originally planned release this month.

Sony Motion Picture Group chairman Tom Rothman confirmed in May 2024 that the film will be Venom's last (until another reboot), but it will apparently end with a bang. “The third and final Venom is going to be huge,” Rothman said.
