Lottie Moss admitted that an overdose of Ozempic led to a hospital stay

After the English model was hospitalized, Kate Moss's sister issued a warning to anyone taking Ozempic.

Lottie, 26, admitted she took Ozempic for two weeks “a few months ago” and was not “happy” with her weight at the time.

“I had a friend who was able to get it for me,” Lottie explained on an episode of her podcast, “Dream On with Lottie Moss.” “It was kind of under the table… It was from a doctor, but it wasn't like you go into a doctor's office and he prescribes it for you, he takes your blood pressure and does tests, which is what you need when you're taking something like Ozempic.”

The British model admitted that Ozempic “is not really intended for weight loss for people who are not very tall.”

Ozempic, also known as semaglutide, was originally developed for patients with type 2 diabetes but is often used for weight loss.

“When I took it, the amount I took was actually intended for people who [220 pounds] and over, and I am in the [110] range,” said Lottie. “So it's those little things that I wish I had known before I took it.”

Lottie then encouraged the audience not to take Ozempic.

“When I tell you it was the worst decision I've ever made, and if that's a warning to anyone, please, if you're thinking about taking it, don't take it, it's not worth it,” said Lottie. “I'd rather die than take it again. It made me so sick.”

After vomiting constantly, Lottie lost almost 20 pounds.

“I think I got about [132 pounds]and I went down to [125 pounds] with the first dose, then it went down to [119 pounds]. It was crazy. I think my lowest point was [116 pounds]. Compared to a few weeks, that's not healthy weight loss, nor is it healthy waste.”

She continued: “When I was laying in bed for those two days, it was kind of over and I just wanted to stop taking it – because you can't stop taking it, it's not like a pill or something that you don't take when you wake up in the morning, it's in your body and it's there.”

“One day I felt so sick that I said to my boyfriend, 'I can't keep water down, I can't keep food down, no liquids, nothing. I need to go to the hospital, I'm really sick.'”

Lottie claimed she eventually went to the emergency room, where the 26-year-old model suffered a seizure due to dehydration.
