Kate Moss' Half sister, Lottie Mossspeaks out against the use of Ozempic for weight loss after shocking experiences with the drug.

“A few months ago, I wasn't happy with my weight. I had a friend who could get it for me and it was kind of below average, I'm not going to lie,” Lottie, 26, said on the Thursday, September 12 episode of her podcast, Dream On.

She explained that although she had received the drug for type 2 diabetes from a doctor, she had not undergone any examination to determine whether Ozempic was suitable for her and what dosage she should take.

“The amount I took was actually intended for people who weigh 100 kilos. [220 pounds] and older, and I am in my 50s [110-130 pounds] reach,” she said.

Lottie went on to describe taking Ozempic as “the worst decision” she ever made and warned others not to use the drug for weight loss unless it was medically necessary.

“If you're thinking about it, don't take it. It's not worth it,” the model said. “I'd rather die than take it again. It made me so sick. … I've never felt so sick in my entire life.”

When Lottie couldn't keep food or water down without vomiting, she realized she needed to go to the hospital. When she was admitted to the emergency room, “she had a seizure because I was so dehydrated.”

Lottie said she had never had an epileptic seizure before and described the experience as “the worst thing that ever happened to her”.

“My face was cramped. My whole body was tense,” she recalled. “Your hands are cramped and you can't move them and it feels like you're going to break your hand. It was really horrible.”

The British-born woman ended her horror story with the hope that it can “be a lesson to some people that it’s not worth it at all” to use Ozempic if they don’t need it.

Lottie is not the first star to speak out against the drug's harmful side effects. Jillian Michaels told People in February 2023 that she had taken “at least eight parents of family friends” from Ozempic.

“She [were] “They get heart palpitations, they get nauseous, they feel like crap,” she said. “As soon as they stop taking the drug, the rebound effect kicks in. So they don't gain anything.”

Others have had positive experiences.

“Ozempic did me a lot of good and I was happy to use it,” Tracy Morganwho is diabetic, told E! News in March: “I take Ozempic every Thursday. It halves my appetite.”
