Cardi B gives birth to baby number 3

Cardi B and Offset just welcomed a new family member.

The rapper announced that she gave birth to her third child, a baby girl, on September 7.

“The prettiest little thing,” Cardi captioned her Instagram post, adding a pink flower and pink heart emoji. “07.09.24.”

She did not reveal the baby’s name.

In the first photo, the mother of three is seen holding her newborn and watching her daughter Kulture hold her new sibling while Offset holds son Wave. Cardi also shows the reality of childbirth, sharing photos during labor and breastfeeding.

The slideshow also shows Offset admiring the baby in his arms and having skin-to-skin contact with the little one, who is sitting on a chair next to Cardi.

Cardi announced her pregnancy in August, shortly after filing for divorce from Offset for the second time. At the time, a rep for Cardi told TODAY.com that the split was “long overdue and amicable.”

In her pregnancy announcement, she wrote: “With every ending comes a new beginning.”

She also sent a message to her then-unborn baby, saying she was “so grateful to have shared this time with you. You brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my strength! You reminded me that I can have it all! You reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”

In her message, she also wrote, “I love you so much and can't wait for you to see what you've helped me achieve, what you've pushed me to do. It's so much easier to just take life's twists and turns and trials in stride, but you, your brother and sister have shown me why it's worth persevering!”

Offset is also the father of three other children from a previous relationship.

The couple has been together since they produced “Lick” together, which was released in January 2017. In October of that year, the former Migos rapper publicly proposed to her and they married in 2018.

In 2018, her daughter Kulture was born, and in 2021, her son Wave was born.
