LeBron James' wife Savannah was against his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers

Every Cleveland Cavaliers fan remembers the day LeBron James decided to return to the team and leave the Miami Heat. It was a great day for Cavaliers fans. The whole city was excited about this news.

However, not everyone was thrilled that James was bringing his talent back to Cleveland.

In a recent interview, James' wife, Savannah James, admitted that she was against the decision to return to the Cavaliers.

Savannah had started to build a life and circle back in Miami, and when she learned LeBron was returning to Cleveland, that life was thrown into disarray a little.

“And then LeBron said, 'I'm bringing my talent back to Cleveland.' I thought to myself, 'No, I don't want to go back.'”

Although Savannah did not want to return to the city, James decided to move anyway. Although she did not want to move back, she decided to support her husband and the two moved together.

A big reason for James' decision to return to the Cavaliers was his promise to bring the city a championship, and he did just that in his second tenure with the franchise.

LeBron spoke about his return to Cleveland and the reasons for his decision.

“I came back for a reason. I came back to bring a championship to our city. I knew what I was capable of. I knew what I had learned in the last few years I was away, and when I came back, I knew I had the right ingredients and the right blueprint to help this franchise get back to where we've never been. That's what it was about.”

All Cavaliers fans agree that they are glad that LeBron finally returned to the team. It was painful to see him leave again to join the Los Angeles Lakers, but he fulfilled his promise of a championship.
